5 of 5 The best base pads for any price! June 19, 2022

I've been upgrading my EDC P365 to a P365X with the addition of a Wilson Combat X/XL grip frame, and since I had upgraded the grip to the larger size, I needed to upgrade my magazines all to the 12-round variety. When I got the magazines, I inserted one with the standard Sig Sauer polymer base pads installed, they were too light to drop quickly out of the frame, although they did drop free out of the mag well. So I decided to add some weight with the addition of the NDZ Performance anodized coyote tan aluminum base pads. I also had them engraved with my name on them, so that when I'm at the range there's no question whose magazines they are. These magazine base pads are of the highest quality and design - they fit perfectly, do not move or rattle, and they look absolutely fantastic on my pistol. As I continue to buy more magazines for my EDC P365X, I'll continue to buy base pads for it from NDZ Performance. I'll also buy them for my other pistols, particularly my Glocks and my M&Ps.

It works but it isn't 'right'.  The flat magazine plate says it is for the regular and the XL module but, this plate is made for the XL. It works on the regular module but it is missing the upward tabs so there is a large gap at the bottom of the magazine. The picture showed the plate without the tabs so it is my fault but I wish NDZ had not made the claim it fit for both when it seems to be designed for the XL. The plates made for the pinky extension have the tabs, only the flat does not.  I had NDZ engrave it so I don't think I can send it back. Great company, just wish the product description was more precise...or that I had looked at the picture more closely!

I ordered this from NDZ and have loved their products in the past but was a little frustrated.  The description said that it was for the P365 and P365 XL.  While it works in a P365 it is designed for the P365 XL.  The XL magazine doesn't need the upward tabs, the P365 magazine does.  The picture did show the product accurately without the tabs but I was going by the description.  This was a none essential 'splunge' to make my new black magazines match the FDE of my P365.  The gap because the magazine is missing the tabs shows a big flash of black and defeats that purpose.  It functions with a P365 but is not designed for it.  I would suggest getting the pinky extension, for some reason it DOES have the tabs.  I now wish I had ordered that instead but I wanted another slim carry magazine.
