The Ghost ESR Extended Slide Release for the 42, 43, 43X and 48 is designed for more aggressive manipulations for positive slide releases and slide stopping power under most adverse conditions. The ESR is large enough for fast controlled executions but streamlined to be unobtrusive. Larger is better, faster and givers a definite advantage.
This part is made with the finest Stainless Steel and requires no pistol modifications for use. Remove the slide and trigger pin, swap out the OEM release, re-assembly and you re in business.

Titanium Nitride (TiN) a PVD coating has a wide range of applications due to the practical properties such as high hardness, good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and excellent wear resistance etc. TiN is a beautiful rich gold color that has a hard finish and is scratch and wear resistant. With the capabilities of being applied to just about any metal surface it is lubricious, corrosion and chemical resistant. It is a cost effective alternative to gold plating. No appreciable build-up to interfere with any firearm operation.
